ISE Venezia

Within the wonderful frame offered by the Convent of the Franciscan Friars Minor in S. Francesco della Vigna in Venice-Italy, the ‘San Bernardino’ Institute for Ecumenical Studies (ISE) has been offering training courses on the life and theology of the various Christian confessions and on the history and reflections of the interfaith movement for over thirty years, placing a strong focus also on interfaith dialogue and Christian-Jewish dialogue. Important studying opportunities in these areas are offered through the well-established experience of its interfaith teaching staff, its well-stocked library and the dynamic ‘Studi Ecumenici’ (Ecumenical Studies) journal.
